Mary Akehurst Bio

Mary Akehurst is wife, mother, connector, and administrator. She and her husband have over 20 years in the addiction and recovery community. Her research began in 2001, after her then young uncle died due to his addiction. For 12 yrs she worked at an addiction center in Mpls, MN, on a quest to find hope for others. Since 2015, the Akehursts live on mission as All Things to All Things to All, based out of MN serving locally, nationally & Int'l.

In 2022, the Akehursts were introduced to Nutrigenomics & the Int’l activation company of LifeVantage. Mary was invited by the director of Lost Sheep Ministries  Int'l to document the experiences of people adding  this activator to their routine, for 6 mo. Health Counselor and Author of the Silent Take Over, Jacquelyn Sheppard, piloted the study.

Not only did the Akehursts watch lives change, they experienced health benefits.  Mary was compelled to keep sharing as they intersect with many people who have lost hope with their own health. Mary equips her team to help others, that is how Catalyst Care and the growing Team Catalyst began, with a Mission is to educate on activating health and well being and a Vision of individuals and families living vibrant lives on purpose.

Mary shares the connection of spirit, mind, and body. For those in addiction, activation means less cravings, more freedom. For those with emotional, mental, and chronic health issues, activation means hope!

She makes time for people interested in the science of activation, invites you to live an activated life yourself and inspire others. She can be scheduled on a phone or zoom call or in person to learn more.

Today in her early 80s, she is overseeing a building project on their farm, active with her children and grandchildren, continues to research, host wellness seminars, is working on a book regarding ADD, ADHD & Autism, and whenever called upon from all spheres of society, gives away her knowledge and wisdom to help others.
